Functionality is very important in addition to the design where television or audio furniture is concerned. This is why I decided to leave the equipment in full view, allowing the user to zap to his heart’s content without the need for doors or flaps to be left open. I ensured the open space could form part of the design in order to make it as attractive as possible. The open section has thereby become an actual element, as both the top and bottom are closed up by the basic shape; your eyes will effectively be completing the shape of the open section.

An important – and often underestimated – function of a piece of television or audio furniture is the hiding of the cables behind the equipment.

This piece of furniture has a double rear wall, which has created a hidden container which offers sufficient space for the cables and even a junction box. Design and functionality are thereby combined in perfect harmony.

delivery


The delivery
We will contact you to make an appointment for your delivery once you have placed your order. This will be at a date and time which suits you. We can usually deliver during the weekend, even on Sunday.

The furniture will be delivered fully assembled and we will take any packaging material away with us too.

We can also offer a solution if your equipment proves to be just a little too big for the furniture. We can produce a tailor made piece of furniture for you with a 16 cm height. 16 cm would also be the maximum height in order to safeguard the furniture’s original design.

The drawers have a perfect height for easily and neatly storing your CD’s and DVD’s.

Television
The RKNL Audio can bear a total weight of 100 kg. So you can therefore easily position your television on top of the furniture.



Cables
Cables can be completely hidden from view. There is a beautifully finished round opening at the back of the furniture which cables can pass through. The furniture also boasts a double rear wall, which can house a socket hidden from view.

Material
The RKNL Audio is produced using high quality MDF.

The semi-transparent panels in the furniture are made of perspex. The self-locking drawers consist of top quality parts. You will instantly notice the ease with which the drawers open and close.

Finish:
The RKNL furniture’s finish could almost be Odesi’s trademark. We set very high quality standards for all our sprayed products, which is why the spraying of the RKNL Audio demands great craftsmanship.

The RKNL 20 has become very well known and has now become an icon in high gloss white. This combination is still ultimately popular. The same finish options are available for the RKNL Audio, both high gloss as well as satin gloss in four different colours.

Durability
The RKNL Audio is sprayed with a special 2 component varnish. This varnish is very hard and scratch resistant.

Wheels
The RKNL Audio can be equipped with ball bearing casters especially for those customers who prefer this option. Hidden from view and available at a small additional charge.

The RKNL Audio is a beautiful piece of furniture from all angles. The furniture will certainly also look great in a free space. A design with wheels would certainly be very practical in such cases.
