My name is Remy Meijers. In 1995, I graduated from the School of Fine Arts, in Utrecht, I specialized in Architectural Design: interior and Furniture design.

After first gaining professional experience, I founded the Studio Remy Meijers. This Studio designs interiors for individuals and professionals.

Because interior design is very specific to the user, it is often made with no matching furniture, or it is diffucult to find the appropriate furniture on the market. These are often custom made.

From this idea, I devised a series of pieces of furniture. These pieces fitting perfectly in the interior and not as a standalone product. Therefore, my creations are sober, long lasting and sophisticated.

When designing I attach myself to the created object’s functionality, without unnecessary additions in order to keep an overview. My furniture designs are well-balanced, sober, I do this by using beautiful and sustainable materials, such as wool, wood and steel.
