Marc Th. van der Voorn

My name is Marc Th. Van der Voorn. I studied Interior design at the Art Academy Minerva in Gronignen.

Typically, my designs are marked by the “suprise” element: each design has a something unexpected, often highly stylised and intelligently designed. This is often the visible part of the design.

My designs are timeless, with traditional materials which I just slightly adjust. I get inspired by the production process. Therefore I first create models in my studio. In my opinion, the developement of a new item is actually a party.
